Fundraising Video for Tropical Paws Gala 2025

Over the past four years, Wakeful State has been privileged to partner with the Hawai'i Island Humane Society (HIHS) in producing compelling fundraising videos for their annual Tropical Paws gala. Our collaboration has focused on crafting narratives that highlight HIHS's unwavering dedication to animal welfare and the profound impact of their services on the community. These powerful visual stories have helped the organization raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to help cover essential operations costs. These funds have been instrumental in advancing HIHS's initiatives, including shelter operations, adoption programs, and community outreach. We are honored to contribute to HIHS's ongoing efforts to promote respect for all animals and enhance the human-animal bond across Hawai'i Island.

Giving Tuesday: Bruce the Dog

The video above was our first collaboration with Hawai'i Island Humane Society. We were asked to create a short docu-style video about a puppy that beat the odds of survival. The content was used as a mini fundraiser on Giving Tuesday.

“Born with a cleft lip and discarded at only one day old, Bruce is a miracle puppy. Together, our compassionate and knowledgeable team knew we could save his life. Please take a few moments to watch Bruce’s incredible story (spoiler alert: this one has a happy ending!)
