Adaptations + Kahumana Food hubs

Hawaii Farmer’s Union United reached out to us requesting assistance in communicating the value of cover cropping and food hubs to local farmers in Hawaii. They received grant funding to create a series of two videos on these topics. We met with the staff and determineed that these videos would be speaking directly to local farmers and not the public at large. Informing farmers about the benefits of cover cropping for soil health and the benefits of food hubs to their bottom line were the primary goals. We traveled to Kahumana Farm on the west side of Oahu, Starseed Ranch, and Adaptations Food Hub on the Big Island.
