We are pleased to share the kickoff video we produced for the Hawai'i Energy Policy Forum’s 20th Anniversary Legislative Briefing. Commissioned by the Hawai'i Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) and developed in collaboration with Hunter Communications, this project highlights the important work being done to advance Hawaii’s renewable energy future.

HNEI, a research institute within the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, focuses on research and development initiatives aimed at supporting renewable energy technologies. The Hawai'i Energy Policy Forum (HEPF), a program within HNEI, convenes stakeholders from federal agencies, the local energy sector, and the broader community to discuss and shape energy policy for the state. Both HNEI and HEPF are dedicated to helping Hawai'i achieve its ambitious target of 100% renewable energy by 2045.

The event featured remarks from David M. Turk, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy under the Biden Administration, underscoring the importance of collaboration at all levels of government and industry.
