Hanalei Skin care Product spotlight: Algae

We worked with a local Hawaiian skincare brand, Hanalei, to create a series of videos promoting their new Aloha Nui Nutrient Complex product line. This product line featured three products made with Hawaiian-grown nutrients (algae, aloe, coffeeberry). This project was in many ways new territory for us and a departure from our cinematic documentary-style work. We enjoyed the challenge of capturing the product line and models in beautiful settings. We also spent time with their team in a studio session where we utilized specialized macro lenses and lighting to shoot the product close-ups as well as slow-motion shots of the models applying the product.

We completed the project by creating a 30 second and 15 second video of each ingredient (algae, aloe, and coffeeberry).
